West Chester United Soccer Club and the Philadelphia Liberty Women’s Soccer Team Announce a Summer Youth Development Partnership

WEST CHESTER, PA – The West Chester United Soccer Club (WCUSC), in conjunction with the Philadelphia Liberty Women’s Soccer Team, proudly announces its membership in the Youth Premier Soccer League (YPSL). The WCUSC/Liberty partnership will field boys and girls teams in the 95/96, 93/94, and 91/92 age groups. The teams will carry the name WCUSC Eagles.

“We look forward to participating in the Youth Premier Soccer League this summer," said Damon Nolan, WCUSC Executive Director and Philadelphia Liberty General Manager. "Through our membership in the league, we will be able to round out our club’s competitive schedule as we will have players from a number of our travel teams rostered to our YPSL teams. This approach will allow us to increase the growth and development of our players during the critical summer months."

(April 27, 2008) The Adirondack Lynx will be the host for the commencement of play in the Youth Premier Soccer League (YPSL) during the weekend of June 14-15, 2008. Competition will be held at the beautiful Golden Goal Tournament Park in Fort Ann, NY which features 8 lighted, finely manicured grass and synthetic tournament fields, residential cabins, and a host of amenities that will make this weekend a memorable one for the players, coaches, and their families.

In addition to participating in the opening weekend at the Golden Goal, the WCUSC Eagles YPSL teams will have games over the following weekends:

    June 21-22, 2008 (Washington Township, NJ) [Boys Teams Only]
    June 28-29, 2008 (Washington Township, NJ) [Girls Teams Only]
    July 12-13, 2008 (West Chester, PA)
    July 26-27, 2008 (Lancaster, PA)
