YPSL Tryouts Rescheduled Due to Weather
EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ (02/22/07) - The latest round of tryouts for the AC Diablos North and South have been re-scheduled due to current and anticipated weather conditions. The AC Diablos South teams, led by Matt Driver, will move their U11 through U16 boys tryouts from Saturday, February 23, 2008 to Saturday, March 1, 2008 from 4:00pm-5:30pm. For U11 through U16 girls, the tryouts will move from Saturday, February 23, 2008 to Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 4:00pm-5:30pm. Both tryouts are being held at St. Augustine Prep, 611 Cedar Avenue, Richland, NJ (directions). A new rain date will be the subject of a future announcement.
The AC Diablos North teams, led by Dan Christian, have also re-scheduled their tryouts from Saturday, February 23, 2008 to Saturday, March 1, 2008. For boys in the current U11 through U16 age groups, tryouts start at 10:00am and will end at 11:30am. For girls in the same age groups, tryouts start at 11:30am and will end at 1:00pm. Both tryouts will be held at the Sayreville Soccer Complex, Bordentown Avenue, Sayreville, NJ (directions). A second round of tryouts for the North teams has also been re-scheduled from Saturday, March 1, 2008 to Saturday, March 8, 2008 with a rain date set for Sunday, March 9, 2008. Second Tryout Date Set for AC Diablos YPSL Teams
EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ (01/13/2008) - The second tryout session for this summer’s AC Diablos Academy South Youth Premier Soccer League (YPSL) teams are scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2008. Girls and Boys who are currently in the U11 through U16, inclusive, age groups are invited to attend. The girls tryout is scheduled to run from 4:00pm to 5:30pm with the boys tryout following from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Both tryouts will take place at St. Augustine Prep, 611 Cedar Avenue, Richland, NJ (directions). All players attending the tryouts must bring a completed Tryout Registration Form and Liability Waiver Form (form - also available at tryout) that is signed by a parent or guardian. AC Diablos Youth Soccer Academy to be Reorganized for Local Club Collaboration/YPSL Competition
EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ (11/24/2007) - Following the announcement of the launching of the Youth Premier Soccer League (YPSL), Matt Driver, President and Owner of the AC Diablos organization, is pleased to announce the complete restructuring, effective immediately, of the programs offered by the AC Diablos Youth Soccer Academy. The restructuring is intended to better align the academy for YPSL competition, encourage academy collaboration with local youth soccer organizations, and to create New Jersey’s only true Vertical Integration system that allows a youth player to progress from Youth to Senior Level competition on local, regional, and national stages.
Under the new organization, AC Diablos Youth Academy teams will no longer compete as year round teams. Instead, academy teams will be formed as "summer only" teams with a schedule miroring that of the Senior teams. This new model creates a "win-win" situation for local youth organizations and their players - enabling their players to avail themselves of the Academy’s superlative coaching staff (consisting of coaches with verifiable coaching experience at the professional and/or collegiate levels and high level coaching certificates) and high level regional competition. This combination creates two clear benefits for local youth organizations - they will now have no concern that their players will be recruited away from them and their players will return to their original teams with additional skills and knowledge from their exposure to YPSL competition and top-level coaching.

On each date the girls tryouts will begin at 3:00pm while the boys tryouts will begin at 4:30pm. Matt Driver Announces Formation of Youth Premier Soccer League
EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ (11/24/2007) - Matt Driver, Team Dynamics, LLC president and chief executive officer has officially announced the formation of the Youth Premier Soccer League (YPSL) which will begin play in May, 2008. The YPSL has obtained sanctioning by USClub Soccer and now becomes the official youth league of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) - acknowledged as the world’s second-ranked league for women - and the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Both leagues feature players from some of the nation’s top collegiate programs as well as internationals and former professional players who have regained their amateur standing.
Membership in the YPSL is strictly limited to the youth academies of organizations who are members in good standing of either the WPSL or the NPSL. For the first season, competition will be limited to three double age groups (U12, U14, and U16) in each gender. The season, itself will run in conjunction with the WPSL/NPSL seasons - mid-May to late July - and be completed via five "festival" weekends (5/31-6/1, 6/14-15, 7/5-6, 7/12-13, and 7/19-20). Festival weekends will be hosted by a WPSL/NPSL organization and the weekend’s competition will feature a match by the host organization’s Senior team.
